Grading Policy
Grading Policy:
1.Averages are determined by a Total Points System

2.Each assignment is given a point value. A student will receive a grade for every assignment turned in ON TIME.

NO LATE HOMEWORK WILL BE ACCEPTED.

You Will Not Pass the Quarter, If You Do Not Turn In
Homework.

3.There are NO MAKE UPS FOR QUIZES, if you are absent, you
will receive a zero.

4. If you are absent the day of a test you will receive a
zerofor that assignment, unless you report to room 341
the morning you return to school with a note explaining your
absence (Your note for your homeroom teacher is ok).
No note, no make up test, no exceptions.You must
make up test within three days of the original test date.

5. A student’s grade will be determined by dividing the total points earned in quarter by the total points available:

Homework Policy
No late homework will be accepted
Students should bring their homework to class the day it is due.
If a student is absent, the assignment is due the day they return.
Also, students are responsible to check with me to find out what they missed when they were absent.

Vocabulary assignments are a very important part of your grade, make sure they are in on time.

You are also expected to keep a learning journal for this class. You are expected to make up any journal entries that you miss due to absence. They will be checked on a weekly basis.

Test Policy
STUDENTS MUST BE IN CLASS THE DAY OF THE TEST
Students will receive a zero for a test unless they report to class the next morning before school with a note to make up the test.

 

 

Quiz Policy
NO MAKE UPS GIVEN FOR QUIZES
Students must be in class to take the quiz on the day it is given.

 

 

Projects
Projects must be in school the day that they are due, even if you are not here.
