Homework Policy
Homework is assigned on a daily basis and is due the following day. Answers to all assigned problems are provided on the day that it is due. No late homework will be accepted. Students who are absent will be given 1 day to make up the missed assignment. Students have been asked to keep a notebook in a three-ring binder where homework and other handouts are to be kept. Being prepared for class means coming to class with your notebook, with the homework in it, in the appropriate place. It is important that each homework assignment is completed and brought to class on the day that it is due. Homework is practice. If the student does not come to class with the completed assignment on the day that it is due, then they will not be able to determine whether they have mastered the material or not. Students are given the opportunity to ask questions.
Test Policy
Tests are given at the end of each chapter and are announced in advance. Absentee students must make up the test on the day that they return. Absentee students are also responsible for obtaining missed notes.
Quiz Policy
Quizzes are announced and given periodically during each chapter. The make up policy is the same as for a test.
