Course Syllabus
Course Name: Electronics 1
Instructor: Mr. Hempel Contact Time: 8:12-8:53 Phone Ext: 1266
Grading Policy
GRADING POLICY
The quarterfinal grade is calculated by the following method:
Homework assignments pertinent to the unit of study based on 10 points
Quizzes to pertaining to unit material based on 25 points
Unit test given at the end of the lessons covering the material based on 100 points
Lab practical assignments to reinforce the theory learned in the class based 20 to 30 points based on the importance of the material.
The final grade is calculated by the total of the above grades by the total of possible points as a percentage
Homework Policy
Homework assignments pertinent to the unit of study based on 10 points. The homework assignments are mandatory and must be made up the next day if the student is absent.
Test Policy
Unit test given at the end of the lessons covering the material based on 100 points.
Quiz Policy
Quizzes pertaining to unit material are based on 25 points. The number of quizzes will be determined on how the students retain and understand the unit material in lecture.
Projects
Informal practical lab projects will be produced by the students pertinent to the lecture material on a regular basis.
A formal lab report will be assigned every quarter that will be waited as a test grade(100 points).
